Do you work on Weekend and Bank holidays? Is it more expensive?

Yes, we do work on Public and Bank holidays. We do not charge more if the service date is a Public/Bank holiday. 


Do you have a minimum charge?

Yes, our minimum charge are £50 excluding on per hour rate.


How do I pay? You can pay by cash or cheque upon completion of the work, all customers will receive an invoice.  

Do you charge VAT?

No, currently we do not charge VAT.

What about parking? Our drivers will always try to park legally and close to your property, however ensuring adequate parking is the responsibility of the customer. As such we recommend that you either obtain permission from your council or reserve space outside your property- this will help keep loading time to a minimum and avoid any parking fines. The laws are (loosely) as follows- Double red lines usually means no stopping or loading ever, single reds may have loading bays or time restrictions, double and single yellows usually allow 20 minutes of loading provided the warden can see it taking place (unless there are curb markings/signs saying otherwise). 

How far in advance do I need to book?

To guarantee the time and day that suits you, we suggest booking as soon as possible but 2-3 days is usually enough.  As well as working on weekends we try our best to be as flexible as possible and can often carry out work at very short notice.  


How many cleaners can I expect and how long will it take? Usually our cleaning team consists of 3-4 cleaners to carry out the end of tenancy or move out/in cleaning but this may change depending on the size of the property.  Our office staff can give you an idea of how long you can expect it to take and when they speak to you on the phone discussing the condition of the property, they would then give you a better idea.  

Do you provide cleaning supplies, equipment, etc..? Yes,  Our cleaning crews are fully equipped with the latest equipment and top quality cleaning materials manufactured by Johnson, Ashbys, Prochem.etc.

Are you insured? Yes, all work is covered by Public Liability. 

 Terms & Conditions

Our terms and conditions are as following:

Vertex Cleaning Services agrees to perform the work specified by the Client in professional manner using every care to accomplish a satisfactory service. By ordering Vertex Cleaning services via telephone, e-mail, fax or website the client is agreeing to be bound by Vertex Cleaning Terms and Conditions of Service.

Vertex Cleaning reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check our website for updates.

Cancellation

Regular Domestic Cleaning
For a regular domestic cleaning contract either party may decide to terminate this contract after 3 months of service, two weeks written notice from the Contractor or from Client must be given in order for the termination to be effective. 

If the client requires canceling the service without the two weeks notice a £30 fee will be charged as a cancellation fee  and all the hours done by the cleaner will be charged at rate of 10/hour.

Our cleaners work any day of the week including Bank Holidays. If your cleaning visit is due on a Bank Holiday and you haven't called or e-mailed to cancel the visit, the 30% of regular amount due for that cleaning visit will be charged regardless of whether the cleaner has cleaned your property or not.

The Client agrees not to pay money directly to any cleaner sent to the Client by the Contractor, as all money must be paid to the Contractor through the Contractors bank account, cheque or online banking.

The Client is charged on a weekly basis according to the client's request for number of cleaning hours and interval between visits. The Client will be notified by telephone or in writing which ever is appropriate, if there is any change in cleaner providing services to the Client.

The Client agrees not to directly employ or offer work to the cleaner of the Contractor, as this will be a direct breach of this agreement. If the client wish to employ a cleaner directly, the client must pay £1000 fee to the Contractor.

The Client may cancel/skip a cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours notice. Otherwise If not notified on time Vertex Cleaning Services will charge the full amount for the cleaning visit and no refund can be claimed.

In case of a complaint, Vertex Cleaning Services requires to be notified within 24 hours after completion of the cleaning work. No claims will be entertained after the above time limit.
